Build-Destroy-Build Thursdays

For Students Ages 7-17:

We use real tools to tackle real world problems in creative ways. Problems create a unique atmosphere of trust and responsibility.

From seven-year-olds to high-schoolers, we empower our students with tools, and space. Allowing students to experience the processes of welding, blacksmithing, casting, and construction (to name just a few).

Students are given the opportunity to choose an area of Industrial Arts they want to focus on and then create projects to incorporate those skill sets. The focus is to allow students to work in a safe guided trial and error atmosphere where they continually learn from their mistakes by reassessing methods, improvising, and trying again.

A failure-positive atmosphere allows children to play in the face of adversity, and gives them real-world opportunities to grow and learn from their mistakes during their building process.
